Check out some tunes.

2X (Two Times)

Man o man 2X is a special one. My resurgence back into the dropping game and I’d say a dope one. 2X covers being the chef, knowing your name and making sure everyone else does too. In this case it’s my name but you get the point. Nothing too deep with this one just shake ya head n rock out. Oh yeah Isaac Rich again w the beat.

Ice

The making of Ice started with the piano. I pulled the loop from a library of favorited sounds. While listening to just the piano loop I began to write the song. The concept is to display how often men believe they have the upper hand in short term dating when more often that not, it is the woman who ends up getting exactly what she wanted out of the situation. As well as men not realizing what’s taken place until it’s already happened to them/believing it won’t happen to them.

The production was handled by Isaac Rich. We kept in mind the feeling of being smooth and straightforward but not arrogant. Building the brand of a “Smooth Criminal”. The genre is hip hop, very melodic. Some sonic qualities would be the formant shifted outro, and the introduction of the trap drums in the second verse.

Lay with You

Lay with you came about in a very “spur of the moment” kinda way. Was having a normal day in class when my teacher decided he wanted to make a live song to use an example instead of a stock one. I was asked to come up and more or less we ended up with this. The production was done by my guy Kai Walters aka YoungJohnDough aka KaiHydro lol.

I feel like this song speaks for itself but truly it’s about just slowly getting to that point of taking your s/o seriously. That moment you realize you’re thinking about them a little bit more than you probably should be & trying to convey that to them in the slightest way possible.

16

"16" is pretty much the story of my life from 16 to 20. I wrote it when I was 18 so it's written from a mindset of looking back on my life and recollecting the changes in my life as a grew older, until I finally reach current events and start looking towards the future towards the end of the song.

The production was made in Ableton stemming from a sample I found on YouTube. I added the "AAAAAHH" sound from a Vox folder I had. Highhats are low and panned a bit to the left. Loud Synth underneath. Nothing too special.

I was inspired to make this song after listening to "George Bondo" by Westside Gunn ft Conway the Machine & Benny the Butcher.
